Tender Mercies and Transfers

June 24, 2019

My first transfer is ending and it's crazy! This was only a 5 week transfer and I'm getting transferred!! I am so sad to already be leaving my first area and people I have grown to love so much! I am headed a couple hours north to Appleton! It wasn't expected but I know the Lord knows me best.

This week has been full of amazing spiritual teaching lessons! We made some hard decisions and had the most spiritual companion study as we prepared a very important lesson. We made some powerful promises and got blessings to prepare us for the lesson. I have such a testimony of Priesthood Blessings, and I am so eternally grateful for all the priesthood holders around me. We went into our hard lesson expecting one thing and came out seeing an amazing tender mercy! Since I'm leaving Waukesha this week I had my last lesson with Holly, and it was bittersweet. Hopefully I can come down for her baptism still!! She has an amazing testimony and Spirit, she has become one of my best friends!

Our zone has crazy pdays haha - we built a fort, we went to a botanical garden, and we got a free VIP tour of Buck stadium in Milwaukee, where I became friends with a worker from Australia who's going to get me tickets after my mission! Shawn Mendes is performing their tomorrow so that's neat haha, and we got to see all the VIP half a million dollar private suits inside.

I saw all of my zone for the last time today, and oh man did I not plan on loving so many people with all of my heart. I love missionaries so much you guys. I love my mission and the missionaries around me, I love my district, I love my zone, and I love my life. I have learned so much about my Savior and His amazing and miraculous Gospel. There is no doubt in my mind that a mission is where I am supposed to be and that Heavenly Father truly is right next to me every step of the way! I hope you all have a week full of miracles and tender mercies. I wish you could all experience the bittersweet joy I'm feeling right now

Love, Sister Davis
